What scratchboard is

A clay-coated board sealed with black India ink. The image appears only where the surface is cut away.

How it is made

Scalpels, needles and abrasives. Lines taper, cross and layer until light and shadow hold together.

What you receive

Archival giclée prints, gallery-wrapped canvas, or the original signed board — one of one.
